From the first day we stopped in to Highland Homes of Clermont, they have been awesome. We personally met the owners on our first visit and were much impressed. They bend over backwards to do anything and everything to make you happy. If there was a problem they were right on it and took care of everything immediately. Only high quality products are used. No cutting back to save money. We have been to every builder in the Clermont area and their homes were built the way they would build a home for themselves. We have been in our home and absolutely love it. The view is spectacular. We knew right from the beginning we had made the right builder choice. We tell everyone about them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home. When we look back we wonder why anyone would even consider looking at a previously owned home, short sale or foreclosure. You can have everything you want the way you want it for just about the same price. And it is all brand new. Nothing to worry about. We had changed our minds on some of the color choices and materials right up to the very end and it was never a problem. We can’t say enough about them. Excellent builders. Barb and I had anticipated buying a resale home because we did not want to wait for a house to be constructed. Our real estate agent showed us numerous houses in various subdivisions. We had narrowed our search down to about three houses. None of the houses we looked at had exactly what we wanted. We wanted an oversize garage, large lanai, tile floors, etc. Some house had some of the features but none had all of the features. So we decided to discuss building a house. Conversations with XXXX Homes resulted in some frustration because they would not concede to changes to their established floor plans and their construction time was at least 5 months. Our agent suggested Highland Homes of Clermont. Within 10 minutes Barb and I knew we were talking with the right builder. Floor Plan changes? No Problem! “Whatever you want, no problem” was their motto. And the house will be ready in about 70 days! They were just as accommodating during the construction process. They were at the job site every day paying attention to detail. We wanted to make some minor changes during the building process and they did not bat an eye – again – very accommodating. That is why Barb and I feel Highland Homes of Clermont is the builder of choice in Clermont. Dealing with Highland Homes was a pleasure from start to finish...were on the site daily and were always available for questions, the resolution of issues and advice. When an issue arose, they never presented it to us without at least one or two possible solutions...was a joy to deal with in selecting colors, finishes and textures...had a real handle on everything. What we experienced was far better than our prior home building experience in New York. These folks not only want to build you a house, their proactive way of doing business bespeaks a degree of professionalism fine tuned over 25 years plus in business...they cover everything. Their enthusiasm was contagious and since they live in Clermont they were always on the job. All in all, the best home buying experience we've ever had.
