Highland Homes stands for high quality homes and the standard options available to you at no additonal cost are of high quality as well. When I got my home professionally inspected the inspectors were absolutely impressed with Highlands work. Additionally, in the community I live in no one wants to leave their Highland Home. The only person that has sold their Highland Home in my community has actually built another home with Highland Homes. I worked directly with Matt and he was always kind and super professional. If you ever have a concern throughout the process just speak with him and he will help you right away. I highly recommend Highland Homes as your custom home builder.

My Wife and I are about to break ground on our 2nd Custom Home with Highland Homes of Clermont. Their attention to detail throughout the process lead to an extremely beautiful home with very few surprises during the build. Matt was extremely diligent in explaining the endless options that come with building a Custom Home and providing honest feedback on where our money was best spent for a amazing home within budget. I've lived in our custom built home by Highland Homes of Clermont for over a year now. I have had no issues and could not be happier with our choice of builder. Matt and his team were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. There is no better builder in central Florida. As someone who has actually built a home with Highland Homes of Clermont, I could not be happier. When we first started researching building a custom home, we never imagined it would be as affordable as the tract homes we had already looked at. It turned out to be slightly less. A vast majority of the "upgraded" features we wanted (tall cabinets, granite countertops, attractive plumbing fixtures, high ceilings, large/plentiful/quality windows, arched doorways and more) ended up being standard with them. Plus we could basically do anything we wanted! In our case, we were working off of one of their floor plans, the Brianne, but as we customized it to fit our vision, we weren't charged the difference for every little thing...if it didn't use more materials or was similar in price with what they normally did, there wasn't a charge and there was never a fee to change the blueprint. The only times we were charged extra is when what we wanted to do exceeded the price of what was considered standard, and even then, only the difference in cost between the choices. You might think you're building a home "custom" with a tract builder, but they have "change fees" for everything, the available lots are very limited and often have zero lot lines; nothing nice or quality comes standard and you'll find yourself having to eliminate things you really wanted, telling yourself you don't really need them because it's too much extra. With Highland Homes of Clermont you really do get a lot more.

Yes, it takes longer than building a tract home, but you'll end up with a superior home. Take a look at even the high rated mass builders before going into a home built by Highland Homes of Clermont, you will notice the difference in workmanship immediately. If you're bothering to build a home from scratch, my husband and I could not recommend Highland Homes of Clermont more. The entire process was wonderful! Dale, Darryl, Matt and Mimi were super friendly and entirely accessible throughout. They were very open to discussions on the pros/cons of our choices and effectively guided us to the best results with their vast pool of knowledge. It was all a very personal experience and they always made us feel like we were their only clients. We never felt left to the wolves and we always knew where we were in the process. They made sure we were satisfied with every aspect of our home and genuinely cared about job they were doing.

If all of this doesn't convince you to check them out, perhaps you'll be interested in knowing that we love Highland Homes of Clermont so much, we're in the process of building our second home with them (closing May '18)! Everything has been just as great the second time around. They understand what it means to take pride in your work and that is incredibly difficult to find in this day and age.
